How to make jumkas using quilling paper strips:
Materials required:
Medium headpin
Small split rings
Scroll backs
Quilling needle
Mini mold
Nose plier
Glue
Procedure:
1. Take two or more strips (your choice of colors), glue and join together. Make a tight coil and glue it at the end of the strip.
2. Keep the coil onto the mini mold to make a curved shape as like jumkas. If you wish you can deepen the curve using fingers.
3. Insert the small head pin thro the bottom of the coil. Using Nose plier bend it slightly, attach split ring and tighten it. Now the lower part of the jumka is ready.
4. Take another strip and cut it into 8 equal parts. Make a tight coil using each piece.
5. Join altogether to make a floral shape of stud.
6. Apply glue and insert the medium size headpin thru the middle coil. Allow it to dry.
7. Decorate the jumka with stones, beads etc of your choice.
